De-construction
2022
This artifact responds to the theme of nostalgia. It is a representation of the fluidity of time, where the future becomes the past which becomes the future...
The constructed future turns into a fluid past, which is, at the same time, an opportunity for new beginnings. Are you willing to change what has been done? Are you courageous enough to create what hasn't happened yet?
The project was part of a collaborative exhibition ‘Regret and Reminiscence‘ working with the theme of nostalgia: “Nostalgia is taking warmth and comfort in the past, but it is also always a reminder of what is no longer there. Dive into treasured memories that you have not lived and times you have yet to experience. ‘Regret and Reminiscence‘ is a multidisciplinary attempt to approach nostalgia as a shapeshifting matter; how does it shape ourselves, our memories, and our relationship to the present?”
